Travis Allen Dahringer, 22, of Sugar Land was pulled over in the 1000 block of Jackson street late Monday night for speeding. Police say he was only going to get a warning, but the officer who pulled him over noticed a smell coming from the vehicle.
Police say an investigation revealed Dahringer was in possession of marijuana and numerous other narcotics.
Dahringer was arrested and charged with seven counts of Manufacturing and Delivery of Narcotics. The charges included five First Degree Felonies and Two Third Degree Felonies, say police. He was also charged with Possession of Marijuana, a State Jail Felony.
Dahringer was transported to the Fort Bend County Jail where he was awaiting bond.
