Jury selection begins in the trial of Iniubong Effiong Ebong. Prosecutors say on Black Friday back in 2010, Ebong hit his 5-month old daughter numerous times to stop her from crying.
Investigators say she had severe abdominal trauma and liver laceration. She died from her injuries at the hospital.
Ebong is charged with murder.
