Police are looking for suspects who were involved in a smash-and-grab in northeast Houston early this morning.

Officers say around 3am, the crooks smashed into the Shell Gas station on Maxey Road near Wood Bayou Drive, took the ATM and drove off.

When police showed up, they spotted the stolen truck they were driving. They had crashed it in someone's yard. The suspects managed to get away by hopping in another stolen truck.

It's unclear if the clerk who might have been in the store at the time was hurt.
