Amber Alert canceled for four missing children; all found safe

HOUSTON

The alert was issued for nine-month-old Natalie Torres, Isabel Torres, 2; Eliezer Torres Jr., 7; and Isreal Torres, 8. Their mother Isila Rodriguez, 32, had also been missing.

According to authorities, Rodriquez came forward with information about the father, 31-year-old Eliezer Torres, endangering at least one of the children. A Harris County family court then ordered emergency custody of the kids to CPS. According to officials, CPS was trying to get custody of the children Monday, but was unsuccessful. The family apparently vacated their home.

Authorities issued the alert because they believed Torres could potentially harm the children and mother and could have been headed to Florida, where he has family.

Authorities did not specify where the children were found, but said they received information that led them to the children. CPS now has custody of the children, and will keep them together as a group.
