A west Houston Thai restaurant owner says it could be some time before he's able to reopen his restaurant after a fire that started Saturday morning at the strip mall where his business is located.

Firefighters say two restaurants caught fire around 9:30am at a strip center on Westheimer Road at Wilcrest Drive.

"We have to wait until the smoke goes away before we can open the restaurant again, but we don't know when that's going to happen," owner First Palanun said.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the blaze.

Arson investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
