It happened just before noon Monday at a home in the in the 14900 block of Wynbourn Ct. in the Kings Landing subdivision.
According to Fort Bend County Crimes Stoppers, the homeowner said a man wearing a police badge around his neck and carrying a clipboard approached his front door. The victim wouldn't allow the man inside his house, but directed him to his garage.
That's when a man wearing a gold-colored mask rushed in, held a gun to the victim's neck and demanded money. Two other armed suspects rushed into the garage as well and they forced themselves into the home.
The suspects held at gunpoint the man, his son and his daughter-in-law as they ransacked the house. At one point, one of the victims was hit by a suspect, but wasn't seriously injured.
The suspects stole cash, a handgun and two cell phones before driving off in a dark red late model Chrysler 300 with tinted windows and chrome factory style wheels.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic or light-skinned black male, wearing a long-sleeve collared shirt and khaki pants. He was short and had closely trimmed black hair, but one victim said he looked professional.
The second suspect is a black male about 5-feet, 10-inches in height with a thin build. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, white gloves and white sneakers.
The third suspect is a black male about 5-feet, 10-inches in height and also with a slender build. He was wearing a gray, long-sleeved pullover shirt, red with white trim basketball shorts and a blue baseball hat with a red or orange bill. He also had a mask or bandana on his face.
The fourth suspect is a heavier black male, about 5-feet, 11-inches tall who was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, gray sneakers and white gloves. He also was wearing a white hat with a dark bill.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
