Worker pistol whipped during northeast Houston gas station robbery

HOUSTON

A worker was pistol whipped during a robbery at a Subway shop inside a gas station near the North Loop and Homestead. An eyewitness says three men came in and robbed the business around 9pm Thursday.

An employee says one man pointed a gun at her. She says she got scared, then dropped some money and the robber hit her in the head.

"I was scared I was going to die," said employee Jessica Cordoba. "He kept saying, 'I'm going to shoot you if you don't give me the money,' so I gave him the money."

The robbers then grabbed some cash and took off. Police say the suspects were wearing masks.

If you know anything that could help police catch them, you're being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
