It happened around 4:30am on Dalview at Yorkdale. A husband and wife were asleep inside when they started hearing windows break.
They went outside to see what was happening and that's when they saw flames shooting from the roof of their house.
Firefighters arrived and put out those flames, but not before the home was destroyed. No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
