Surveillance video captured a person outside the center on the same day a fire was reported. Someone called police and their tip led to the arrest of the 14-year-old boy.
He was charged and released to his parents.
Investigators do not believe he's connected to another pool fire in Bellaire earlier this year, which caused about $100,000 in damage.
