The wreck happened just before 4am in the 12400 block of State Highway 249 at Antoine.
Detectives say Kira Lebedzinski and her sister were headed southbound on the highway when she made an unlawful left turn and her 2005 Cadillac struck and killed a motorcyclist heading in the opposite direction.
After the crash, Lebedzinski the called her husband, Richard Gonzalez, and summoned him to the scene. Detectives say that's when Gonzalez attempted to move the crashed Cadillac but was stopped by witnesses.
Officers who responded to the scene say Gonzalez also appeared to be intoxicated driver. They later determined the couple had been out drinking together before each got behind the wheel.
Gonzalez was arrested and jailed on charges of tampering with evidence and DWI. Lebedzinski was arrested on an intoxication manslaughter charge.
The victim, Artemio Castillo, died at the scene. Detectives say he was on his way to work at the time of the crash.
