The car came to rest all the way inside the house along Val Verde near Chimney Rock. An eyewitness says a driver leaving a car wash accidentally hit the gas and struck some cars. The driver then went through a ditch and crashed into a duplex.
"He just started going faster and faster and I thought he was going to come out here and exit," said Stephen Windham. "He just kept went straight into the house."
The car bumped a man in a wheelchair who lives in the house. That man was taken to the hospital to get checked out.
