Justin Rogers-Zenon, 19, was sentenced to six years deferred adjudication probation after the plea agreement on Monday.
According to the Ft. Bend County District Attorney's Office, Rogers-Zenon will also serve 180 days in jail, pay a $500 fine, $328 restitution to Girl Scout Troop 29152 and write an apology letter.
The plea deal stems from an incident in March of 2012. Two Girl Scouts were selling cookies outside a Walmart along the Grand Parkway in Ft. Bend County when they were approached by Rogers-Zenon.
According to witnesses, as a car pulled up next to their table, Rogers-Zenon grabbed their cash box and jumped in. Both girls reportedly ran after the vehicle and one was struck in the leg.
Both Rogers-Zenon and the juvenile who was driving the vehicle were arrested less than a week after the robbery.
The juvenile who was with Rogers-Zenon had been previously sentenced to three years confinement which was probated for three years, after having spent 120 days in detention. The juvenile, too, had to make restitution and write a letter of apology to the Girl Scouts.
