It happened on the Northwest Freeway near Antoine around 1am. Police say both cars were traveling westbound on Antoine when the two got into an accident.
The female driver was taken to the hospital to be checked out. The Houston police officer was not hurt. The accident is under investigation by HPD's traffic division.
