Two Pearland Sam's Club employees robbed at gunpoint while leaving work

PEARLAND, TX

Pearland police say at around 9:45pm, officers responded to the Sam's Club at 15800 Highway 288 in reference to an aggravated robbery. Police say two employees, a male and a female, were walking to their cars in the employee lot located in the southeast corner of the parking lot. While in the parking lot, a green Jeep Cherokee approached them. A black male suspect wearing a dark colored bandana and armed with a revolver exited and attempted to rob both employees.

According to police, the unknown suspect struck the male in the head with the revolver during the robbery. The suspect removed a small amount of cash from the male and fled in the Jeep. The female was not injured.

Police say information obtained from witnesses suggests that the Jeep was occupied by three individuals.
