Police: Surveillance video shows two women behind attack

SUGAR LAND, TX

It happened in the parking lot of a Target store along Highway 59 near Lakeside Plaza Drive in Sugar Land Monday evening. Two women were attacked with pepper spray while loading merchandies into the trunk of their vehicle at around 8:45pm. One of the victims -- an elderly woman -- was punched and had her purse stolen.

Reviewing the store surveillance video, Sugar Land police identified two women who they believe are responsible for the attack. The women are black, in their late 20s to early 30s and have shoulder-length hair.

The suspects left in a black, four-door vehicle driven by a black male, say police.

From video, police were able to determine the vehicle's license plate number is DK2 B894. There is a Houston Texans sticker on the rear window.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle in the Target attack should call the Sugar Land Police Department at 281-275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
