Starting Friday at 9pm, road crews will being switching traffic along the North Loop eastbound main lanes from 18th Street to Ella. Alternate lanes will be closed from 9pm Friday until 5pm Saturday.
The Highway 290 eastbound connector ramp to the North Loop eastbound will be closed until Monday morning. Motorists are urged to detour to 610 West Loop south, exit at Old Katy Rd, u-turn and re-enter 610 northbound/eastbound.
You may just want to avoid this entire area if at all possible this weekend.
