Woman opens fire on two suspects she says were burglarizing her relative's home

HOUSTON

Shortly after 2pm Wednesday Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence on Gene Campbell Road involving a burglary in progress. When deputies arrived, they say they met a relative of the homeowner who told them that she saw a white or Hispanic male and a black male leaving from inside the residence with personal property of the homeowner.

According to deputies, the witness told them that she fired a handgun several times at the suspects and thinks she may have injured the Hispanic or white male because he fell to the ground, dropping the property from the home.

The suspect got up and both fled in a gold passenger car that displayed paper tags, driven by a white female north on Gene Campbell.

The suspects have not been apprehended and detailed descriptions are not immediately available.
