It happened on Palmbeach at Freeton. According to Houston police, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency had the house under surveillance when on Monday afternoon, a silver Toyota Camry left the home. Officers stopped the car and found 200 pounds of marijuana inside.
The driver told police he got the pot at the house.
Investigators believed the occupants of the home would be armed, so a SWAT team was called in to assist.
Three men were coaxed out of the house without incident. They were all taken into custody, as was the driver of the Camry.
The DEA and other law enforcement agencies searched the home. It's unclear whether any other drugs or contraband were found.
