Zachary Woodard, 21, was taken into custody just after noon Thursday. Deputies say he was the man seen on surveillance video kicking in a back door and rushing out with a flat-screen TV.
Investigators say he was aware of the footage on the news and had recently cut his hair and shaved, hoping to change his appearance.
Authorities also found drugs in the home. Woodard is charged with burglary and drug possession.
