Police say an 18-year-old man was found dead around midnight on Carvel near Windrow.
According to officials, the victim and a friend were involved in a suspected drug deal with two other men. When authorities arrived, they found the victim shot and killed with some drugs all over the street.
"From one of the witnesses we talked to, there apparently was a transaction of some kind and then it went horribly wrong and the container popped open and whatever was being purchased was dumped in the middle of the street," said Det. Fil Waters with HPD's Homicide Division.
At this point, detectives are interviewing witnesses for more information. They say they do have an idea on who the two suspects in this case are.
