HOUSTON --
All southbound lanes of Highway 288 at Orem were closed for a couple of hours due to a tanker truck fire this morning. It happened just after 9am. The freeway was closed between Reed Road and Orem. The freeway reopened just after 11am.
Crews were on the scene for a while cleaning up the mess on the freeway.
There was no word of any injuries.
