The three women were meeting with the three men at a complex on West Rosamond near Dowber. Police say it's unknown why they were meeting, but eventually the men robbed the women, shooting and killing one of them.
Homicide investigators say the men fled in a newer model black Dodge quad cab pickup.
The victims are related and are from the Austin area. It's not clear why they were in northwest Houston.
