The house on Bigwood and Arvin in northeast Houston caught fire last night.
Firefighters made a fast attack and got the flames under control, but not before the fire burned most of the home and a truck parked in the driveway. There was a woman in the home. She made it out safely.
She says the house was undergoing renovations. Firefighters are not sure if that played a role in the fire.
