International Festival takes over downtown Houston

HOUSTON

The Houston International Festival made its return Saturday and will run through Sunday and again next weekend.

This year's event puts the spotlight on the art, music, history and cuisine of Argentina.

Thousands made it downtown Saturday to enjoy the festivities for all ages, and the fun didn't stop there.

For the first time, iFest organizers held an International Festival Concert at the Hobby Center. Saturday night, the Hector del Curto Orchestra and dancers performed 'Eternal Tango.'

Thousands more are expected to be downtown again Sunday. Gates open at 11am. Tickets are $18 for adults and $5 for kids.
