A man in Liberty County has a whale of a fish story. He caught what may be a record size catfish.

Fisherman James Pruett was checking his trot line out in the Trinity River last weekend. That's when he caught a 76-pound yellow catfish. He said the fish nearly sunk his boat.

Pruett is not sure if this is a record catch, but says it's the biggest catch ever, at least for him.
