Police say a man was holed up inside a home with a gun and 4-year old for nearly four hours. It started around 10pm at a home on Skyview Crest near Skyview Manor.
The dad was hauled off in handcuffs after police say he pistol-whipped his wife. She managed to run out of the house with their 14-year-old child, but the 4-year-old didn't escape.
The woman called police and when the man refused to exit the home or let the child go and that's when SWAT was called in.
"After several hours. the suspect finally came out and gave himself up," said Victor Senties with the Houston Police Department. "Nobody was injured."
Police say the man could face possible aggravated assault charges.
