A convenience store clerk is accused of selling Kush, or synthetic marijuana, from behind the counter of the business where he works.

Texas City police say they determined through an undercover investigation that Mohammad Qureshi, 24, was selling the drugs at the Rocket convenience store at 501 FM 1765 in La Marque. Qureshi was arrested Thursday while he was at work.

Investigators seized what they believe amounted to a street value of more than $22,000. Qureshi is charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. Bond has been set at $60,000.
