Raul Manzanarez is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child in connection to the late January incident at a home in north Houston, according to a charging document.
Manzanarez is accused of undressing the girl, sexually assaulting her and then threatening to kill her.
Authorities say the girl's 12-year-old sister witnessed the sexual assault.
Manzanarez's bail has been set at $30,000.
