The Houston news website Culture Map reports that the first-ever American Girl store in Houston will open at Memorial City Mall this summer. It will reportedly be 16,000 square feet.
If you're not familiar with American Girl stores, you should be. The doll craze is bigger than Barbie, and girls and their parents can easily spend $100 or more dressing up their dolls and going through a full experience that includes a salon styling, lunch and even a photo shoot.
