Teacher's aide gets probation for breaking student's arm

A teachers aide accused of breaking a special needs student's arm on Monday received two years probation.

In January of last year, Tameria Clark's mother said her daughter's arm was broken at the Harris County ABC West Campus. Tameria Clark is 15 but has the mind of a small child and various health problems.

A former teacher's aide at the school, Maria Rivera, on Monday pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault.

Rivera had been charged with a felony count of injury to a disabled person.
