Pedestrians hit by car in downtown Houston

Two men are recovering after they were struck by a car in downtown Houston's historic district.

Police say the men crossed the street at Travis and Commerce during a green light. They were struck by an oncoming car that had the right-of-way.

The victims' injuries are not considered life threatening. They were taken to Ben Taub General Hospital for treatment.

The driver was not hurt. Police say he likely will not be facing charges.
