Montgomery Co. confirms new case of West Nile virus

CONROE, TX

The county's environmental health service says it's the second human infection in the county this season and the third case there this year.

Residents are encouraged to protect themselves from infection by using mosquito repellant and wearing protective clothing outdoors. They're also urged to eliminate mosquito breeding sources like standing water.
