Someone called police around 1:30am to report an assault in progress. The caller also said the suspects were armed.
Police responded to the scene a couple of minutes later and found the body nearby on Deering at Country Creek.
The victim had suffered head trauma, but it's not clear if he had been shot or beaten.
The case remains under investigation.
