A Texas Historical Commission marker was dedicated at Hidalgo Park in east Houston Saturday.
The marker recognizes a gazebo that's been there since the park opened in 1934.
The gazebo is made of concrete molded to look like wood.
People in the Magnolia Park neighborhood say the gazebo has been a stage for community events for decades.
It's the fifth state historical marker in Magnolia Park.
