A jogger who was hit by a car in the Heights on October 5 has died of her injuries. The accident happened early in the morning while it was still dark outside. Police say Susan Young, 38, was trying to cross the intersection of Heights and 11th when she was hit.
Eyewitnesses say Young appeared to be jogging and listening to music when she was hit. They also say the driver had a green light.
Young was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced dead on October 8.
