Investigators say Sanjaykumar Shah hired a woman he knew to baby sit his sister's child on July 11. When he picked her up, the victim told police he drove her to his home instead and raped her. Court documents state Shah then drove the victim back to her residence.
Shah, 48, has previous arrests for fraud. He is now charged with sexual assault of an adult. Bond has been set at $30,000.
