The Waxahachie Daily Light reports 50-year-old Robert Kevin Cox of Waxahachie was sentenced Monday.
An Ellis County jury earlier also found Cox guilty of indecency with a child. Cox was sentenced to 20 years for that conviction. The sentences will run concurrently.
Further details on the victim weren't released.
Waxahachie is 30 miles south of Dallas.
