The driver was southbound on Waugh Dr. near Memorial around 1:50am when he struck the median curb, blowing out his tire.
Officials said the man lost control, skidding across the lanes and hitting the other side curb. The pickup flipped over and rolled several times.
According to investigators, the man was not wearing his seatbelt. He was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled.
He died at the scene. Officials have not released his identity.
No other vehicles were involved, and no one else was in the truck with the driver.
