Around 10:15pm, a woman called police saying she saw someone breaking into her minivan. A police unit was nearby and saw the stolen minivan. The officer tried to stop the suspects but they took off.
Authorities say the driver went too fast around a curve and crashed into a fence, that's when the suspects got out and started running.
Investigators say the officer also lost control of his cruiser skidding into an underpass wall. He was not hurt. A 13-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were caught a short time later.
