It happened on FM 5029 near Lakeview Haven in northwest Harris County around midnight. Investigators say the driver hit the pedestrian, then hit another car while trying to get away. Deputies are still looking for the vehicle involved.
The victim is in the hospital. There is no word on that person's injuries.
Investigators say an expired license plate fell off the vehicle.
