The bodies were found Saturday at a home in the 5800 block of Ardmore St. near S. MacGregor Way.
According to investigators with the Houston Police Department, the victims were dead in the home for a couple days. A neighbor called the police to report a foul odor coming from the residence.
The identities of the women have not been released. Officials said one was in her 50s and the other was in her 80s.
Investigators believe the deaths are heat-related.
