Police search for second driver in fatal drag race

HOUSTON

Investigators say two cars were racing on the I-45 South feeder road at Hartsook early Sunday morning when one driver lost control and slammed into an electrical pole. He was pronounced dead on the scene. His passenger was air-lifted to a hospital.

The crash split the electrical pole in half causing the outage.

The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene.
