Police are trying to track down a pair of bandits who allegedly stole a car and then robbed a bank Saturday morning.

The aggravated robbery happened around 8am Saturday at Texas First Bank in the 4300 block of Highway 3 in Dickinson.

Shortly after the bank opened, officials said two men walked in and robbed the tellers at gunpoint.

According to police, the suspects were young -- possibly in their mid- to late-20s -- and dark skinned. Both men were wearing masks and were armed with handguns, they said.

The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash and left the bank in a Toyota, which was later recovered on Oleander, less than one mile from the bank.

Police said the vehicle was stolen early Saturday morning during a reported carjacking in Galveston.

No physical injuries were reported in either incident.
