Community centers reopen after budget crunch closed them

HOUSTON Tuesday was the first day that all of the community centers were reopened. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee helped secure some $350,000 in donations to make the reopening possible. Eight city pools are also scheduled to reopen tomorrow.

The reopening is only temporary, as more funding is needed to keep them open for the rest of the year.
