All trains are back in service following a one hour delay. During the power outage a bus bridge to compensate for lost rail service was established to ensure patrons were able to move along the line.
Power outage disrupted METRO rail service
HOUSTON
It happened around 1:40pm today. The power failure occurred near the intersection of Fannin and Bellows near Texas Children's Hospital, where scaffolding equipment from bridge construction fell on the rail power grid.
