Giffords attends husband's awards ceremony
HOUSTON
Giffords attended an awards ceremony at Space Center Houston for her husband, retiring astronaut Mark Kelly, and the last crew of space shuttle Discovery.
Giffords entered the ceremony in a wheelchair to a standing ovation. She was wearing a beige scarf, light shirt, jeans and sneakers.
During the event, she held hands with Kelly, and when he was given an award, she stood up and hugged and kissed him.
