Councilmember Jones to answer charges of misconduct

HOUSTON Fellow council member Mike Sullivan filed the charges. The Office of Inspector General found Jones used city employees to run her personal law practice.

Jones will be represented on the panel by council member C.O. Bradford, while Sullivan will be represented by council member Sue Lovell. Mayor Annise Parker will be the third member of the panel.

Jones faces punishment -- ranging from reprimands to removal from office.
