The Harris County Sheriff's Office was called to Brandon Oaks Apartments on Saathoff Dr. near Jones Rd. around 7:15pm Saturday after people heard a gunshot.
When authorities arrived, they found a man's body on a sidewalk.
He had been shot and died at the scene.
The victim had no identification on him, so investigators don't know who he was, where he lived or why he was shot.
