They say he ran a red light and smelled of alcohol. Authorities say they will check him for alcohol.
No one was hurt in the other vehicle.

Police say two cars collided at the intersection of Westheimer and Fountainview late last night. Firefighters had to cut the driver out of one of the vehicles before taking him to the hospital.
