Pharmacist, 2 others arrested in alleged drug ring

HOUSTON

Deputies arrested Shantae Akpaffiong, James Turner and Detrel Smith. Deputies say over the past few months Akpaffiong was illegally dispensing prescription drugs out of a pharmacy in Richmond.

The arrests were made after a four-month undercover investigation.
